Jonathan Thomson is pleased to present “White Lines”, an exhibition of new works in new media that celebrate light as the source of sight and beauty.
Thomson uses his preferred iconography – the human figure and clouds – to explore fundamental ideas about beauty. His works highlight the joys and sorrows of life and love. Beauty is relative to different times and different cultures and all too often the delight it gives us is tempered by the fact that it too, like laughter and music, the perfume of flowers and the bloom of youth, will fade. All things must pass, but in our hearts and minds, that which we find beautiful is a possession for all eternity.

Jonathan Thomson is pleased to present his exhibition “White Girls” in Bangkok as the inaugural exhibition in Thavibu Gallery’s new International Artist Project Space.
The Bangkok edition of “White Girls” will include work in various media including Oil on Canvas and Neon and new works in Electroluminescent Wire.

JONATHAN THOMSON WINS PRIZE FOR KOBE BIENNALE 2011
Jonathan Thomson has been selected as a prize winner of the Kobe Biennale 2011 Art in Container International Competition. . His winning work “A Walk in the Clouds” will be on display in Kobe, Japan as a part of the Biennale from 1.10.2011 to 23.11.2011.
